Share Change is an initiative of the The Salvation Army USA Western Territory that produces video content infused with messages of transformation and hope, designed to empower individuals to share the Gospel message with others via online and social networking platforms. Share Change aims to reach beyond tradi

tional means of influence in order to tell the world about the physical, emotional and spiritual healing to be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. When you encounter any content online that you feel would point people towards Christ, share it through your social media channels. You can share it broadly with all of your friends, or directly with someone you know needs to hear a specific message. This can be done through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, or Instragram, or by downloading videos directly from HelpShareChange.org to show in a more public setting. The more you share, the more likely the message is to be seen and understood by those who need to hear it most.

So many memories. One unforgettable summer☀️

Today we said goodbye to an incredible summer at The Salvation Army Long Beach Red Shield Summer Day Camp. From the first day to the very last, our campers filled these weeks with laughter, friendship, games, adventures, and memories we’ll carry with us long after camp ends.

It’s bittersweet watching our summer come to an end. We’re sad to say goodbye, but so grateful for every smile, every friendship, every silly moment, and every little memory that made these 7 weeks so special. 🥹💛

To our campers: thank you for making this summer unforgettable. To our staff: thank you for the heart, energy, and love you poured into every day. And to all the families who trusted us with their children this summer — thank you. ❤️

Crestmont is more than a college. It’s where men and women who have answered God’s call are equipped for a lifetime of ministry, leadership, and service through The Salvation Army. Through biblical education, spiritual formation, practical ministry experience, and community life, cadets are prepared to serve people in need, lead congregations, share the hope of Jesus, and make a lasting impact in communities around the world.

Every classroom, chapel service, and hands-on experience is part of preparing future Salvation Army officers to love God, love people, and serve with compassion.

This is where the journey begins.

We keep it real.
We don’t just tell stories, we show how real people are being impacted by the care and love The Salvation shows to anyone and everyone in our local communities all around the world, all inspired by our faith in God and the power He has to transform hearts and lives.

We care.
Every person we sit down with is a real person who so graciously has allowed us to tell their story. We spend time with them, get to know them, and try to honor their story as best we can. We know that by telling their stories, more people can experience the same kind of healing, restoration, and blessings.

We believe change is meant to be shared.
The name “Share Change” carries a double meaning, sharing stories of transformation and inviting others to participate. We encourage you to dowload and share our videos anywhere you think they would have an impact on someone.

We know that Jesus changes everything and sharing Him with as many people as possible is our goal.

Major Lex Giron’s testimony is incredible. He unknowingly met The Salvation Army as a kid in Guatemala when a devastating earthquake struck and the Emergency Disaster Services teams were dispatched to help.

Many years later, after moving to the U.S. the Giron family encountered The Salvation Army again. This time they were cared for spiritually, physically, and mentally. The Lord has been in all of the details of their lives. They were truly saved to serve. They have now served faithfully as Officers of The Salvation Army for 30 years.

From Guatemala to Los Angeles — How a Pastor Discovered his Faith

Growing up on the streets in Guatemala, Major Lex Giron’s childhood was far from easy. After a large earthquake devastated the country, he unknowingly had his first interaction with The Salvation Army — through the Emergency Disaster Services.

This wouldn’t be his last time meeting The Salvation Army, as Giron would battle with alcohol and drug addiction in the future.
