PGLC Families,

I am saddened to inform you that we will not be fielding a team for the 2023 season. I have been in contact with Billy Huss over at the Elk Grove Gladiators Lacrosse Club and informed him of the current situation we are faced with. Their club has a very similar situation going on with low registration numbers.

For the best interest of the sport in the greater Elk Grove region, we will be joining forces with them for the foreseeable future. Below is the website for the Elk Grove Lacrosse Club page.

Reimbursements will be sent out to all those who have paid ASAP. Please reach out to me with any feedback, questions, concerns.

A legend of the sport. Multiple championships at multiple schools. Highly influential for the westward expansion of the sport. A brilliant lacrosse mind. I was lucky enough to hear him speak at a US Lacrosse clinic. My pen could not keep up as I feverishly took notes on his lacrosse philosophy. Great contributor to the sport.

The most decorated coach in college lacrosse history is calling it a career after 42 years.

Respect. Honor. Peace. Unity. These are just a few of the values that are ingrained within the culture of lacrosse, a sport with deep spiritual roots that originated with Native Americans. Gifted to them by the Creator, lacrosse is more than just a game for Native peoples. It runs so much deeper.

After leading the Hornets to their first undefeated season in school history, Troy Taylor has been named the Big Sky Co-Coach of the Year . It's the third time in as many seasons played that Taylor has earned the honor.
