"Sir Evan MacCarthy, Prince of Carbery, and Lady Elizabeth, alongside H.S.H. Georg-Viktor, H.S.H. Madeleine-Rose, and H.S.H. Maximilian Bernd Botho Prinz zu Bentheim und Steinfurt, have honoured their enduring friendship by mutually conferring their respective dynastic orders. Both Sir Evan and Lady Elizabeth obtained the Order of Saint James, which is a single-class Order of Knights and Dames. In turn, the members of the House of Bentheim und Steinfurt were invested with the Collar of the Order of Saint Fachtna. As a private dynastic order of merit of the House of MacCarthy Reagh, this order serves as a modern expression of gratitude for exceptional meritorious deeds. The Collar is its highest grade, exclusively reserved for members of noble, royal, or chiefly families who have rendered extraordinary service to the Chiefly House and the Principality of Carbery.

This moment highlights the Order of Saint James’s international expansion, beautifully echoing the legacy of its founder, Count Floris V of Holland. As the son of Emperor William II, Floris projected his influence across thirteenth-century Europe, forging strategic alliances with England and France, and even claiming the Scottish throne in 1292. His Majesty the King of Thailand 🇹🇭 watched Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand 🇹🇭 complete her first solo flight in a JAS 39C Gripen jet aeroplane at Wing 7 in Surat Thani province on Thursday.

According to reports, the flight highlighted her strength, poise and flying ability, while inspiring confidence and admiration among the Thai public. After the flight, the King presented her with a bouquet 💐 and the Gripen Golden Patch.
