🌴 Coachella Valley Quilt Guild Philanthropy
One of the most meaningful things we do as a guild is share the comfort of handmade quilts with our community.
Throughout the year, our members generously create and donate quilts that are distributed to local organizations serving children, families, veterans, seniors, and individuals facing difficult circumstances. Every quilt is given to its recipient to keep—a handmade reminder that someone cares.
Our Philanthropy Committee proudly supports organizations including:
Shelter from the Storm
CFLC Foster and adoption agency
Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center
DAP
Mama’s House
Olivecrest
Bristol Hospice
Family Hospice Care
Safe House of the Desert
Mission Hospice
Desert Regional Hospital
🧵 How to Donate
Completed philanthropy quilts may be dropped off Tuesday mornings during the Quilter's Group meeting (also known as the "Lunch Bunch") at the Joslyn Center.
Whether you've made one quilt or one hundred, every donation is sincerely appreciated and helps us continue supporting our community.

Thank you to every member who shares their time, talent, and generosity through our Philanthropy program. Together, we're wrapping our community in comfort—one quilt at a time.
