💜 Teamwork makes beautiful quilts!

This stunning philanthropy quilt was pieced by Linda Lyman and quilted by Vivien McGuire. The colorful fabrics paired with the flowing quilting design create a quilt that is both vibrant and comforting.

💛 Another beautiful quilt for Philanthropy! 🌷

Every quilt has a story, and this one is especially meaningful.

These tulip blocks were donated by a family whose loved one was unable to finish the quilt. Linda Lyman pieced the blocks together, and Vivien McGuire completed the quilting, ensuring this beautiful project could be finished and shared.

Now it’s ready to bring comfort to one very lucky baby.

Thank you to the family for donating the blocks, and to Linda and Vivien for helping this quilt continue its journey. 💕

🌴 Coachella Valley Quilt Guild Philanthropy

One of the most meaningful things we do as a guild is share the comfort of handmade quilts with our community.

Throughout the year, our members generously create and donate quilts that are distributed to local organizations serving children, families, veterans, seniors, and individuals facing difficult circumstances. Every quilt is given to its recipient to keep—a handmade reminder that someone cares.

Completed philanthropy quilts may be dropped off Tuesday mornings during the Quilter's Group meeting (also known as the "Lunch Bunch") at the Joslyn Center.

💖 Another quilt delivery from our Philanthropy Committee!

Today, Linda Lyman and Vivien McGuire delivered a collection of donated quilts to CFLC Sheltering in Indio.

CFLC Sheltering was hosting an event for children, where each child received a donated quilt.

Linda shared that many come into the system with nothing. CFLC provides the basics, and they were thrilled to have something extra to share.

Thank you to all of our guild members for your generous quilt donations, and to Linda and Vivien for coordinating today’s delivery.
