From his very first match with the Rebels in 2026 on our Junior Varsity squad, it was clear that Sean Ronnie was something special. His speed, athleticism, and kicking ability quickly earned him a promotion to Varsity, where he continued to make an impact throughout the high school and U18 club season.

But Sean’s impact went far beyond the scoreboard. Before every match, Ronnie led the team in prayer — moments that many of his teammates have shared inspired and grounded them throughout the season. His character and humility have left a lasting mark on this program and everyone around him.

We are incredibly proud to have been the first stop on Sean’s rugby journey and even more proud to celebrate alongside him and his family that he has received his official appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. 🇺🇸🏉

Your Rebels family can’t wait to watch the next chapter unfold and hear about all the adventures ahead.

Our club has an exciting opportunity to welcome a rugby player from Spain to the U.S. for the upcoming school year and summer program!

This is more than just hosting a student — it’s a chance to:
✈️ Experience another culture
🏉 Grow the global rugby community
🤝 Build lifelong friendships and connections

We are currently looking for:
🏡 A host family for the 2026–2027 school year
☀️ Families interested in a 4-week summer hosting opportunity (stipend available)

As the Rebels continue building international opportunities for our athletes, this is another great way for our families to be part of something bigger than rugby.

4 REBELS. 2 COUNTRIES. 1 INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY. 🏉🔥

Our Rebels High School & U18 squad had FOUR athletes selected from a talented pool of Southern California rugby players to join the California Legion Rugby Academy U18 Tour in Australia & Fiji this June 🇦🇺🇫🇯

This season, these athletes showed out for the Rebels in the following positions:

💪 Bruce Barnier – Lock / Captain
💪 Chase Marshall – Prop
💪 McAdam Burke – Flanker / Captain
💪 Micah Imel – Flyhalf

They’ve earned it. Now we need your help to get them there.

We’re raising funds to support travel costs, and all donations will be split evenly between the four players.

We set up a Double Good virtual fundraiser! We’ll each create a Pop-Up Store and sell Double Good popcorn.

TOP THREE SELLERS GET FREE REBELS DUES FOR ONE PLAYER! This fundraiser helps with our end of season party so get on the bandwagon and sell some delicious popcorn.

We keep 50% of all sales, and the popcorn ships directly to buyers. Prices start at $11. The popcorn is award-winning and really delicious!

Spring Rugby is open for Girls U15 and U18 — no experience required.

Girls Eligibility (League age as of 9/1/2025):
• Girls U15: Ages 11–14
• Girls U18: Ages 14–18

📅 Practices begin March 10
🕔 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 5–7 PM
📍 Practice location TBD

🏉 Games every Saturday
• First game: March 14
• Season ends: May 9

Rugby builds confidence, strength, teamwork, and safe contact skills — all in a supportive, athlete-first environment.
If you’ve never played a contact sport, this is the perfect place to start.
