VIP was honored to receive Joint Members Resolution No. 259 from the California Legislature in recognition of our 40th Anniversary! Presented by our longtime supporter, Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes, the resolution was issued on behalf of 13 Senators and Assemblymembers representing communities throughout our service areas.

We are grateful for this recognition and for the legislators who took the time to acknowledge VIP’s four decades of creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities!

Our ACE clients enjoyed a fascinating tour of the factory, where they got to see how one of Korea’s beloved comfort foods is made, from the production process to the finished product. And of course, no tour is complete without samples to take home and share! From discovering how things are made to experiencing local businesses firsthand, ACE is all about learning, exploring, and connecting with the community.

Way to go, Owen D., who recently joined Round1 Bowling & Arcade in Temecula as an Attractions Department Associate! Owen helps maintain arcade games, keeps the attractions area clean and organized, and assists customers as needed. A big shout-out to VIP Employment Specialist Damon Hunneman, who helped Owen secure the position, and Job Coach Sarah Velotta, who is pictured celebrating this achievement with him!

Owen’s mom shared this heartfelt message with Damon: “He’s grown leaps and bounds in such a short time! You are part of that growth.” Congratulations, Owen! We are excited to see you grow and succeed in your new role!

This event brings families and vendors together to discover resources, services, and new opportunities for the I/DD community.
