The Sons of The American Legion was created in 1932 as an organization within The American Legion The S.A.L. is made up of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the United States military and became eligible for membership in The American Legion. Together, members of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of The American Legion make up what is kn

own as The Legion Family. All three organizations place high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for OUR nation's children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.

🚨 BREAKING: Patriots, eight brave U.S. service members were killed today in a B-52 bomber crash. Please take a moment to salute their service, honor their sacrifice, and pray for their families during this heartbreaking loss.

These heroes put on the uniform every day knowing the risks. They represent the very best of America, willing to lay down their lives to protect our freedom and way of life. Their courage and dedication should never be forgotten.

We lift up their grieving families right now. May God wrap them in comfort and strength as they face this unimaginable pain. No words can fully ease their sorrow, but we stand with them in gratitude for the ultimate price their loved ones paid.

President Trump has always stood strong for our military and our veterans. Under his leadership, America honors its warriors and rebuilds the strength these heroes fought to defend. Their sacrifice reminds us why we must always support the greatest fighting force on earth.

When 79-year-old Vietnam vet George Karkoc heard two women screaming from a nearby Studio City apartment, he jumped into action to help save them from a naked attacker. That suspect broke both of Karkoc's legs before Karkoc opened fire, killing the assailant. Now, local law enforcement officers are paying special tribute to the vet on this Veterans Day.
