In his own words:

“After 30 years of ministry, I pray for the grace to listen with the ears of my heart… My ministry is not about me, it is about Him.”

As he celebrates this special milestone in a Benedictine monastery—a sacred place of silence and listening—Fr. Ben reminds us all of St. Benedict’s rule: “Listen, and you will arrive.”

Fr. Ben, thank you for saying “yes” every day—for being a priest, a guide, and a humble servant of Christ.

✨ *BertoEdAngeli Foundation Scholarship Reunion 2025* ✨

On January 4th, the BertoEdAngeli Foundation joyfully hosted its annual reunion for 74 of our scholarship beneficiaries, creating a space for reflection, connection, and celebration. This gathering was a testament to God’s grace and the transformative power of community, faith, and education.

🙏 *A Day Rooted in Faith*:
The event began with a heartfelt prayer by Rev. Fr. Patrick Nwachukwu-Udaku, who reminded the students of the importance of staying connected to God’s word. Though unable to attend in person, Fr. Ben sent his blessings along with Bibles for each student—a gift of hope and guidance on their journey.

💡 *Inspiration to Shine*:
- Dr. Ugochi Njoku shared an empowering message titled *“The Cup is Refillable,”* encouraging students to rise above challenges, embrace resilience, and break cycles of poverty with determination and faith.
- Mrs. Assumpta Uche Okere, a former beneficiary turned Gospel minister, inspired everyone with her testimony of perseverance and faith, urging students to be Christ’s light in the world and to give generously to others.

🎁 *Gifts and Celebrations*:
The day was filled with joy as students received clothes, shoes, bags, and tokens of support. Five outstanding scholars were awarded laptops, and all attendees were gifted a Bible, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to nurturing both their education and spiritual growth.

🍴 *Community and Fellowship*:
The reunion was also a time to share meals, stories, and encouragement. Students introduced themselves, celebrated their academic journeys, and left with full hearts, knowing they are part of a family rooted in God’s love and support.

🙏🌟 * A Report from Companions of the Wounded Healer* 🌟🙏

With hearts full of gratitude, we share how God’s grace and the generosity of our donors continue to transform lives through the BertoEdAngeli Foundation’s *Companions of the Wounded Healer* volunteer group. Each week, this dedicated team visits the indigent, bringing hope and essentials like rice, beans, garri, crayfish, biscuits, Milo, and milk. These acts of love are making a profound impact on the lives of those in need. 🍚🫘🥛

**Highlights from November:**
✨ *Healing and Hope*: Mr. Theaddues Ihemforo, who was previously unable to walk, can now move with the aid of crutches provided by the foundation. To God be the glory! 🙌
✨ *Overflowing Gratitude*: Those we serve have shared heartfelt thanks, testifying to improved health and well-being thanks to the support and medical care they’ve received.
✨ *Reaching More Lives*: Six new indigents have been added to our visits, increasing the total to 26 people who are receiving support.

In this season of giving and service, we also pause to honor the lives of two community members we have lost: Mrs. Anthonia Anyanwu and Peter Onyenka. May their souls rest in eternal peace. 🙏🕊️

What a heartwarming sight—over a hundred children praying with energy, joy, and unwavering faith! 💕 The BertoEdAngeli Block Rosary Team is devoted to teaching these young souls how to pray, nurturing their spiritual lives with food for the soul.

But our mission extends beyond prayer. Through God’s grace, the BertoEdAngeli Foundation provides food for the mind by supporting their education and food for the body by ensuring they have nutritious meals and essential supplies. 🍎📚✝️

We are deeply thankful for the opportunity to impact these lives, bring hope to the hopeless, and guide these little ones on their journey to Heaven. This is more than a ministry—it’s a testament to God’s love and a call to serve His children.

These energetic, joyful children are receiving the nutritious meals they need to thrive, thanks to the BertoEdAngeli Food and Nutrition department! 🥰 With God’s grace and the generous support of our donors, we are able to provide meals to hundreds of children in their school settings, helping them grow strong and stay focused on their studies. 🥗✨

New hunger data reveals that 5.4 million children and 800,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women will face the acute threat of malnutrition (wasting) in 2025, making every meal we serve vital to their well-being. 💕

Join us in celebrating the gift of life! ❤️ At the BertoEdAngeli Medical Center, our dedicated staff welcomed newborn twins into the world with a heartfelt song of thanksgiving. In Nigeria—where the infant mortality rate remains a significant challenge—every safe delivery is a miracle, and the birth of twins is a double blessing. 🙌✨

Through God’s grace and the unwavering commitment of our team, dozens of babies are delivered at our center each year. But our work doesn’t end there. We are with mothers every step of the way—from prenatal care to parenting courses, safe deliveries, and postnatal support. 💕

Moments like these remind us of the beauty and sanctity of life. Let us give thanks to God for these precious little ones, their family, and the incredible team making a difference in the lives of so many. Together, we are building a future filled with hope. 🙏
