Did you see the movie, "Michael"? If you did, we ask that you also spend a few minutes reading the Substack article linked below. It details Jackson's relationships with 18 different children, eight of whom were professional actors. It is the best summary we've seen. Once you read the article, you can make up your own mind about who Michael Jackson really was. You may also find some good lessons in there, as parents of young performers.

Two civil cases, representing 6 accusers against the Michael Jackson estate are scheduled to get to court in late 2026. Is it any wonder the film is out now?

Did you know that the film's opening sequence was originally focused on the Neverland Ranch raid? Only after the movie was finished did the filmmakers find out that there was a settlement with a victim that bars the Jackson estate (who produced the film) from telling that story. So days before the film's release, they had to reshoot and recut, focusing on Michael's pre-allegation career, and removing all the references to alleged sexual assault. What is left is the "Michael" movie you can see in theaters today.

Here's the Substack article: PLEASE read it. https://traciemorrissey.substack.com/p/the-king-of-pop-and-the-boys-around

This school closed last week. It was a unique Hollywood school for professional children and many star names stopped there along their journeys. Sharing here in case alumni would like to join their page. From our point of view, we are glad it is closing.
There, we said it.
Many abuses took place in connection with the school, and in our experience, the administration was never very interested in doing better (note the many names of the school -- ever ask yourself why?). This was not the quality education, or the environment, that professional kids deserve.

We get questions about this occasionally. Non-profit public organizations, 501(c)(3), like Bizparentz Foundation, CAN and should lobby for causes that are important to them. We often work with legislators to craft laws that will be good for young performers, and occasionally, we even oppose bills that we believe will hurt families. But there is a distinction: we are NOT "political" -- we can't campaign for particular parties or candidates. If you deal with other non-profits, here are the facts about this kind of activity:

Candid insights | Most nonprofits think they can't lobby—but that's a myth. Public charities have broad legal rights to engage in nonprofit lobbying and influence legislation without risking tax-exempt status.

SAG-AFTRA members: it is time to vote on the contract. No matter which way your child votes, PLEASE, please, pretty please have them vote. It is incredibly important that young people have their voices heard. There are enough young performers in the union to sway any election. Let's use that power by showing them how many of you vote!

The 2026 TV/Theatrical Contracts have important gains to improve conditions for young performers, including ensuring qualified chaperones for young performers, classroom visibility for parents when feasible and paid education time. Learn more and vote to lock in these gains at sagaftra.org/contracts2026.

This is why you raise your children to be good humans, and to understand the world from more lenses than just acting. He was truly a star, and the show was the #1 sitcom on TV, on ABC, for 196 episodes. There is nothing wrong with being an Amazon driver. Pintauro has a degree from Stanford, btw. "The concept that our residuals are not enough to survive on does not seem to get through people's brains, and so when they see us surviving by working at Traders Joe's or Amazon, it's confusing, because it's like, 'Oh, he must be set for life from all those Who's the Boss? residuals.' And it's just not true. So it makes us look like regular people, which we actually are," Pintauro said.

Danny Pintauro — who played Judith Light's son on 'Who's the Boss?'— is delivering packages for Amazon to pay the bills, as he makes very little money from residuals.
