IEHP Foundation

IEHP Foundation Dedicated to creating a long-lasting and profound impact throughout the Inland Empire.

IEHP Foundation is on a mission to inspire and ignite the health of our communities. As a placed-based funder, we are committed to supporting, collaborating and convening with local organizations so that ALL individuals in the Inland Empire can live healthier and more joyful lives. IEHP Foundation was established by Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) in July 2022 as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit to

ensure all in our region have access to Vibrant Health — going beyond traditional healthcare services and reaching the region’s most vulnerable populations.

Changes are coming to Medi-Cal due to new federal and state polices. We worked with IEHP to ensure our community based organizations are aware of these changes and how they can help their communities keep their healthcare coverage. To learn more visit iehpfoundation.org/news

Celebrating the power of storytelling! 🎉

IEHP Foundation’s Inaugural Storytelling for Fundraising and Advocacy Cohort concluded their training with a powerful storytelling showcase! We heard inspiring client testimonials, personal narratives and stories of transformational change.

During the eight session training, led by Kristen Caloca, CEO of Kairos Impact Strategies, professionals from 20 Inland Empire nonprofit organizations learned communication techniques, including ethical and trauma-informed storytelling and how to identify stories within their agencies for impact.

At their final session, we not only celebrated their hard work but the graduates put their new skills into practice and courageously shared their stories in front of an audience of their cohort peers and special guest coaches from philanthropy, media, public policy and marketing.

Thank you to Michelle Rai, Patricia Watkins, Manny Sandoval, M.A. Sandoval, Denise Berver, Regina Weatherspoon-Bell, Mindy Silva, Arturo Garcia and Maha Rizvi, MPA, for your insightful and meaningful feedback.

We look forward to seeing how these Champions continue to hone their skills and amplify their stories to inspire impact and long-lasting change!
