Information: When a call is made to 9-1-1, the dispatcher will ask a series of questions, ensuring that the right medical aid is sent to you.

A paramedic along with either a Physician’s Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be sent to conduct a medical evaluation. If the medical evaluation does not appear to need an ambulance to the Emergency Department, the individual will be treated at home/at the scene of the call. ,
