To this end, we are excited to share this hybrid art/storytelling event at which several of our Do Tell open mic regulars will be telling stories. Please come see what it is all about! (see blurb below and attached graphic for more details)

Our Virtual Immigrant Stories Workshop on Saturday, May 30th, was incredible. To our participants - thank you for showing up and sharing your positive energy with us so early in the morning. Our stomachs were definitely growling from the all the delicious foods that you shared during the icebreaker. And, thank you, Dra. Ximena Ospina for facilitating another beautiful and transformative workshop; we appreciate you taking us on a journey through warm memories - teleporting with el sol. Some one-word take-aways from the end of the workshop were: inspiring, curious, meaning-full, intriguing, enriching, and experiences. ❤️❤️❤️

Our Virtual Immigrant Stories Workshop on Sunday, May 24th, was such a beautiful experience. Thank you for joining us with open hearts and minds, for taking the time to reflect on key moments from your lived experiences, and for nurturing your story seeds into drafts of stories to be shared aloud. Special thank you to Dra. Ximena Ospina for creating a brave space and for establishing the framework of the “bench” when it comes to sharing and listening to oral stories. And special thank you to Shein Ei Cho for being our featured storyteller and for sharing a tender story about reminders.

We are offering this workshop again on Saturday, May 30th, from 10:00AM-11:30AM Pacific Time. There are still seats available. Check the link in our linktree for more information. We hope to see you then!
