What a night!
Huge thanks to for hosting our Sunday Fund-Day and donating a gift card toward our raffle basket. With your support and 150 amazing guests, we raised funds to power direct support for participants working hard towards securing employment.
Beyond the donations, we opened conversations, challenged viewpoints, made allies, and grew awareness about what’s possible when community shows up for inclusive employment.
When government programs face uncertainty, THIS is what holds the line. Community.

The application for the 2025 California Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is now open!
YLF is free for the following applicants:
• Must be a California resident
• Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school
• Must have a 504 plan, Individualized Education Program (IEP), or identify as a student with a disability
Selected YLF participants will have the opportunity to spend a week in Sacramento and will learn about advocacy and leadership, connect with peers, meet professionals with disabilities, interact with state policymakers, develop goals, and create a personal leadership development plan. Had a wonderful afternoon with hundreds of Sacramento Region’s valuable organizations at the Foundation’s 2022 Do Good Summit sponsored by . The breakout sessions hosted by on , , and were opportunities to , learn, and support one another.

We even had the privilege of bumping into a previous student participant of student work experience program and see them as a young adult staffing a fellow organization’s booth! It was a wonderful testimony to the power of collaboration!

Looking forward to building partnerships that further the in our communities.
