Important workshop this Saturday on Zone Zero for your home sponsored by the RB Community Council.

The last of the three FREE Zone Zero wildfire-readiness presentation we have been hosting will take place Saturday, April 4th , 2-4 pm at the Rancho Bernardo library.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Zone Zero is your first line of wildfire defense. Enforcement begins in 2025 for new homes and 2026 for existing homes.

The first 0–5 feet around your home matters most.
Why Zone Zero matters:

• Most homes ignite from wind-blown embers
• Combustible materials near the home increase risk
• Clearing Zone Zero can significantly improve home survival
Simple steps homeowners can take now:
• Remove mulch, wood, and stored items near walls
• Keep gutters and exterior walls clear
• Address fencing attached to the home
