💚Today, The Ramsey Stigma Free volunteers had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the annual symposium hosted by Bergen County’s Department of Health. It was inspiring to spend time with dedicated organizations and neighboring towns who share our passion for supporting residents and spreading the message that mental health matters.

💚The morning was full of fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and new partnerships—tools that help our community continue building resources and creating safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels included, without stigma or shame.

Ramsey is turning green 💚

Our incredible team of volunteers has been spreading green bows and lawn signs throughout town as a simple but powerful reminder: 💚mental health matters.

Sometimes the smallest gestures create the biggest impact. A conversation. A check-in. A reminder that no one has to struggle in silence.

This May, during Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s continue opening the conversation, breaking stigma, and normalizing talking about how we truly feel.

Because caring for mental health should be part of everyday life — for all of us.

One week later, and RAM Fest is still in our hearts 💚
Seeing families, kids, and neighbors come together reminded us how powerful community can be when we show up with kindness and care. These are the moments that help our 👦🏻👶🏼👧🏽 children feel supported, connected, and truly seen.

Last Friday we had the honor of partaking in Ramsey Stigma Free’s first RAM Fest 💚

Mr. Jeff proudly represented the library and brought materials designed with in mind. From arts, crafts and other brain breaks to serious information about mental health resources, both broad and local, please never forget that your library is here to help.
