The Bergen County Department of Health Services, Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services, invites you to register for our Fall 2026 Mental Health First Aid classes. Please see the attached flyer for upcoming dates.

The next class is Youth Mental Health First Aid on Friday, October 30th, 2026.

Please note: This course is not for youth to attend. It is designed for adults who work with, care for, or interact with youth, including parents, educators, coaches, healthcare professionals, first responders, and other caring adults.

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour certification course that teaches participants how to recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond appropriately, and connect individuals to professional support.
