A special congratulations to our very own Ramsey Ambulance Corps members, Tegan Kahle and Lily Ann Kriz, who are also members of the Ramsey Varsity Softball Team. We are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and commitment both on the field and in our community. Lily is a very dedicated EMT and a hard working senior! Tegan is beginning her EMT course this summer and a rising Junior!

Congratulations to Ramsey Ambulance Corps’ Knights of Columbus Shield Award recipient, Dean Alvarez!

Dean has been a dedicated member of Ramsey Ambulance Corps for many years, serving as our Treasurer and consistently giving his time to take shifts, answer calls, and support our organization behind the scenes. His commitment, reliability, and service to our community truly represent what the Shield Award stands for.

We also want to extend our congratulations and gratitude to this year’s fellow Shield Award recipients: Lt. Michael Canonico of the Ramsey Police Department, Firefighter Kerry Conklin of the Ramsey Fire Department (and EMT at Ramsey Ambulance Corps), Captain Richard Fiore of the Ramsey Rescue Squad, and Jonathan Krehel, Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator of Ramsey OEM. Thank you all for your dedication to keeping Ramsey safe.

This week, we are proud to recognize and thank Life Member Jim Keeney for his years of service, dedication, and commitment to the Ramsey Ambulance Corps.

Jim was sworn in 2009, and became a Life Member by 2021. Since 2017, when RAC began using ImageTrend, Jim has responded to nearly 1,000 calls! (not including his first 8 years)

From calls and duty shifts to his ongoing support of the Corps, Jim’s service has made a lasting impact on Ramsey EMS. Thank you, Jim, for your incredible commitment and for being such an important part of our RAC family.

Celebrating our 2026 graduates of RAC🎉

Alana graduated from Seton Hall University, earning her Masters in Physician Assistant ( PA-C). Megan graduated from New York University, earning her Bachelors in biology and minoring in public health. Izzy graduated from Ramapo College, earning her Baccalaureate Program in Nursing (BSN).
