The Board of Supervisors has approved changes to the County Zoning Ordinance that allow amplified live music at boutique wineries—small-scale operations that sell wine and offer public tasting areas.

Officials say the update will strengthen the rural economy and workforce, helping boutique wineries remain financially sustainable amid challenges such as drought, high water costs, and economic uncertainties.

🌱 Ramona farmers and gardeners—now’s the time to start seeds indoors! 🌱
Getting summer veggies going inside gives them a strong head start before heading out to the garden. In our Ramona climate, starting seeds indoors means sturdier plants and earlier harvests ☀️

🍅 Tomatoes & peppers
🥒 Squash & cucumbers
🌿 Herbs

All they need: a sunny window, a little warmth, and consistent moisture.
Start small now, enjoy big harvests later! 🌱💚
