Ginger truly thrives on companionship. She loves being near her people, whether that means curling up beside you on the couch, quietly following you from room to room, or settling in for a peaceful nap nearby. She is deeply loyal and happiest when she is included in everyday life.

Vedder’s story started with uncertainty after his owner left him and another dog behind while staying with a friend. When that friend had to move, Vedder suddenly found himself needing a new place to land. Thankfully, this sweet little puggle has not let life’s changes dull his gentle spirit.

Vedder is an easygoing guy with a calm, sweet demeanor that makes him incredibly easy to love. He may not be interested in toys, but snacks? Absolutely. This boy has yet to turn down a treat and is definitely not a picky eater!

He loves being petted and scratched and enjoys quietly keeping his people company. While he is not necessarily a “sit in your lap” kind of dog, he likes being close by and is happiest near his humans. Vedder is naturally curious and enjoys sniffing around the yard, exploring at his own pace, and taking in the world through his nose.

He loves walks, rides nicely in the car, understands the doggy door, and has wonderful house manners. He is not destructive and settles in nicely to home life. Overall, Vedder is just a peaceful, lovable companion who asks for very little other than some affection, a comfy place to relax, and someone to share life with.

Meet Amelia, a graceful Beagle estimated to be 7 to 8 years old, with soulful eyes and a gentle spirit that quietly steals your heart. Amelia was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Georgia involving 86 dogs. Thanks to a compassionate volunteer pilot, she was flown to Charlotte and began her fresh start with Triangle Beagle Rescue. Now she is patiently waiting for a home of her own.

Amelia is all Beagle, curious, observant, and guided by that impressive nose. We suspect she may have done some hunting in her past because the scent of rabbits or squirrels instantly captures her attention. A calm home with a securely fenced yard will be important so she can safely explore and follow her nose.

She truly thrives around other calm dogs and takes comfort in their presence. Food is absolutely the way to her heart, and soft training treats have been a wonderful tool as she learns about life as a cherished companion. Having never experienced typical home routines before, she is still learning potty training, but she is making steady progress with consistency and patience.

Amelia enjoys the simple pleasures. A cozy dog bed is one of her favorite spots. She loves gentle ear scritches and will accept a light belly rub once she feels safe. She has shown curiosity about new toys, even if her attention drifts quickly. She rides beautifully in the car and enjoys neighborhood walks, taking in all the scents along the way.

On a recent camping trip, Amelia surprised us with her quiet adventurous side. She enjoyed a beach stroll and relaxed during a boat ride on the Intracoastal Waterway, calmly taking in the experience. While she is not quite a cuddler yet, we are nurturing her confidence every day and watching her blossom.

Amelia would be perfect for a patient, thoughtful adopter who appreciates a soft, inquisitive companion with a touch of adventure. With time, kindness, and stability, she is ready to become an unforgettable part of someone’s life.
