driving motivator. Table seeks to be a community that brings people together regardless of means. We strive to be a place that breaks walls and barriers between people of different economic class, generations, race, and spiritual backgrounds. We encourage conversation between all people, knowing it will create community and will nourish the soul. Valuing Excellent and Affordable Food: Healthy, affordable, and good food is our tool that brings people together. We provide excellent food for all people to enjoy. We keep our cost down to a reasonable price for a meal, so that all may eat. Pay what you can afford, pay what you would typically pay for a meal, or pay it forward and buy a meal for someone else. We are committed to excellent, healthy food at reasonable prices. To insure that there are no barriers to a person’s access to a healthy meal we are committed to a “Pay-What-You-Can-Afford” menu. Creating Community: We are a place to gather. Gather with your friends in the morning, meet new people over lunch, and utilize this space for your group gatherings at night. We are ‘a place for people to ‘be’. What does pay-as-you're-able to mean?

Buy one, and it becomes a meal for a neighbor at our table. Take it with you or leave it with us and we’ll get it to one of our community nonprofit partners!

Grab one in the cafe or order online.

🍽️ $75 = 5 meals
🍽️ $150 = 10 meals

Lately, we’ve seen more neighbors walking through our doors who need a meal but can’t quite afford the suggested price, and more folks choosing to volunteer in exchange for their food. That’s exactly why Table exists: so no one ever has to choose between eating and belonging.

When you sponsor the cafe, you’re filling that gap. You help cover the true cost of those meals, so our team can keep saying yes, no questions asked.

Whether you sponsor for a day, a week, or a month, you’re keeping the doors open to a space that means so much to so many. And, you’ll get to see the community you’re helping build, in person.

In celebration of National Black Business Month, we’re partnering with the City of Raleigh for a morning conversation on empowerment, opportunity, and building for the long haul.

Friday, August 21st at 9:00 AM, moderated by Lekesha Shaw (City of Raleigh) with panelists Tamara Terry, Rolonda Hernandez, Kevin Spruill, and Meisha Gayle, leaders doing real work across economic development, entrepreneurship, HR, and local food systems.

A few years ago, we started asking a simple question: where could we take our food truck to actually make a difference? That’s how our partnership with the Boys & Girls Club in Zebulon began. Being farther from the main distribution hub in Raleigh, this Club didn’t always have the same access to food that other Clubs did. So once a month, we started showing up with a good meal, just to connect with the kids and staff.

We don’t have the truck anymore, but the visits never stopped. Now we bring a catered meal and serve it right out of their kitchen.

Last summer we brought a few other nonprofit and food partners along for an end-of-summer celebration, and it was so good we did it again. This year, we popped up for their Water Day alongside Artspace, Ripe for Revival, Lil Reggie Cookies, and Cheney Brothers.

Some of our favorite days are the ones we get to share with partners who care about this community as much as we do.
