We loved spending today on the campus of Western Carolina University at the Seeds and Soil Community Partner Networking and Professional Development Conference!

Surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains, our Membership Team got to connect with more than 120 nonprofit leaders, community partners, and potential members who were excited to learn about the resources, connections, and support the Center provides.

We're committed to reach more nonprofits across rural North Carolina and are grateful for opportunities like this to listen, learn, and share.

A special thank you to Natalie Newman for inviting us to participate and to WCU Center for Community Engagement & Service Learning for hosting. We appreciate our partnership with Western Carolina University and look forward to continuing to build relationships that strengthen the nonprofit sector across WNC.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to connect with us!

Thanks Solace Rose Innovation Academy for sharing these meaningful takeaways - especially #4.

It was a pleasure to gather with so many energetic nonprofit leaders in Greensboro - and across the state - at the Building Resilient Futures events to not only learn with fellow peers but to connect over the work we're doing and the work ahead of us. Thanks for showing up in all ways.

Behind every nonprofit is a story worth sharing.

When Ms. Toni Savage, Founder & President of Family Childcare and Center Enrichment Foundation-FCCEF, connected with our membership director, she was excited to share her organization’s story.

Stories like Ms. Toni’s reflect the heart of the nonprofit sector – passion, vision, and a deep commitment to community. Across North Carolina, nonprofits are making a difference in ways that go beyond what we see but are deeply felt.

🔗 Take a closer look at the work behind FCCEF’s mission: https://ncnonprofits.org/blog/behind-mission-family-child-care-center-enrichment-foundation

Family Child Care & Center Enrichment Foundation (FCCEF) exists to strengthen educators, stabilize families, and build resilient communities through advocacy, professional development, financial literacy, wellness, and emergency support.

They show up in the places where resources are scarce, technology is limited, and funding is inequitable – because that is where educators need them most.
