NC NAPNAP 2025 Health Impact Grant winner! Paige Giguere is a CPNP in NC who received $1000 to support a quality improvement project with “Mom League” - an organization aimed at offering support and education to postpartum women and families in NC with transition to parenthood. Giguere’s project is centered on enhancing comfort through implementation of supportive seating use with ergonomic chairs for postpartum women. Congratulations Paige!

Member Highlight! NC NAPNAP 2025 Professional Certification Grant winner!! Desiree Dill is a NICU nurse in NC and a dually enrolled CPNP DNP student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She was awarded $1000 to cover costs associated with her primary AND acute care certification. Congratulations Desiree and we wish you success on both of your upcoming certification examinations!

Lori Aguirre, MSN, FNP-C, PMHS was the recipient of our 2025 NCNAPNAP continuing education grant. Lori was awarded $1000 in funding for a certificate of intensive training in motivational interviewing- a continuing education course offered through UMass Chan Medical School. Lori Aguirre, MSN, FNP-C, PMHS was the recipient of our 2025 NCNAPNAP continuing education grant. Some of our wonderful NC NAPNAP members kicked off the New Year volunteering at Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill. Our members made over 50 servings of chicken tetrazzini with italian green beans, garden salad and cookies for families staying at the RMH. We are thankful for all of our members who show up to volunteer and give back in our community.
