College Service Project at NCSU College Service Project supports Appalachia Service Project through local & national work. Making homes warmer, safer and drier for families in need.

College Service Project: NCSU will work to support and bring the mission of Appalachia Service Project to the Raleigh area. By using able and willing college volunteers, we seek to eradicate substandard housing in Wake County and to spread the idea of service within the Raleigh community. College Service Project (CSP) will work with other non-profit groups such as Habitat for Humanity of Wake Coun

ty and local homeless shelters, to help bring warm, safe and dry living conditions to all residents of Wake County as well as providing life-altering volunteer experiences for NC State students. We will do this by:

-Educating the NC State community on the issue of substandard housing facing Appalachia, Wake County, and the country as a whole

-Offering service trips to Central Appalachia to directly support the mission of Appalachia Service Project and provide excellent volunteer experiences to NC State students, alumni and faculty

-Bring the ideals of ASP to Wake County by supporting families and individuals in need of quality housing through quality housing repair and improvement.
