We did it! All 10 of the candidates on the Majority Strong Slate 2026 have won their union elections and will take office on our Board of Directors later this year. We could not be more excited about their leadership, more hopeful about the future of our union, or more proud of the countless rank-and-file union members who organized to get this powerful slate elected.

Our caucus endorsed these candidates because they are committed to Unionizing, Defending, and Transforming our organization and our public schools. The next 3 years are going to be absolutely pivotal for the future of our schools, and these leaders are ready to meet the moment-- leading with the courage, transparency, strategy, and member democracy that it is going to take to level up our union, beat the privatizers, and win the schools we all deserve.

These elections are only the beginning of the next step in our transformation. We don't have a day, a dues dollar, or a member leader to waste, and these Board members can't get us where we need to go alone -- they'll need every rank-and-file member across the state to keep engaging in our union democracy, keep organizing, and keep our leadership grounded in the realities workers and students are facing on the ground each and every day.

Our caucus is EXTREMELY excited to announce the 🚨Majority Strong Slate 2026🚨! After months of work to create a questionairre, nominate candidates, conduct interviews, and vote on endorsements, our caucus members have chosen to endorse these 10 powerful candidates to be on our state Board of Directors and help lead our union to the next level.

The next 3 years are do-or-die for our public schools, and these are the leaders we believe will help us UNIONIZE, DEFEND our schools, and TRANSFORM our union and our state.

Union elections begin on March 22nd (look out for your ballot in your email) and we encourage all our NCAE union siblings to vote for this incredible slate of candidates!
