Piedmont Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society Piedmont NARGS, based in the Triangle area of North Carolina, is for gardening enthusiasts interested in low-growing perennials and other unusual plants.

Please join us Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10-11:30am at the JC Raulston Arboretum 4415 Beryl Road, in Raleigh. Zac Hill from Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories and Arboreta will present "Treats from the Southeastern Atlantic Coastal Plain - Rare and Unusual Native Plants from the Southeastern United States."

Zac will take us on a botanical foray around the Atlantic Coastal Plain from Virginia through Georgia. From coastal sand dunes to Sandhill habitats and pocosins, as well as pitcher Plant Bogs and Carolina Bays, Zac will guide you through the various habitats of the SE Coastal Plain with images from his travels through the region.

Social time starts at 9:30am. Hope to see you there!
