Noah's Team of Raleigh - Canine Assistants Noah's Team of Raleigh supports the work of Canine Assistants - a non-profit provider of service dog If needed, lifetime care for the dog is also provided.

Canine Assistants has placed dogs in 48 states to recipients with physical disabilities, epilepsy, diabetes, soldiers with PTSD and other needs. The dogs learn almost 90 cues and can open/close doors, retrieve dropped items, turn lights on/off and pull wheelchairs. Some are trained to respond to seizures by summoning help, retrieving a phone or staying next to their person during a seizure. Dogs are provided at no cost and a sponsorship includes recipient training camp.

Our Story

Noah’s Team of Raleigh, NC volunteers, along with their mascot “Scottie”, support Canine Assistants through disability awareness presentations, animal-assisted therapy at hospitals and nursing homes, and fundraising to provide service dogs for Carolinians on the wait list.
