Our Story

Tongue & Groove is an open mic night hosted by Anna Weaver and co-organized by Sarah Egan Warren and Andrew Warren. Every second Sunday, we welcome poets, musicians, storytellers, jugglers, interpretive dance...anything but comedy (which is not say you can't be funny) and sermons (which is not to say you can’t do poems/songs/stories/juggles/dances about faith).

Until it’s safe to gather in person again, we’re hosting our event each month via Zoom. The link changes each month; find it in the Events section here on FB.

When Raleigh lifts restrictions and we all agree it’s a good idea, please join at VAE Gallery (309 W Martin St) in our beloved downtown Raleigh.

Beer and water are available. Sometimes sodas, but no guarantees.
