North Carolina Culture Change Coalition

North Carolina Culture Change Coalition NC's principle organization for supporting long-term culture change within nursing homes.

The North Carolina Culture Change Coalition grew out of the NC Eden Alternative
Coalition, which formed in 1996 to advocate for culture change in the state’s
residential nursing homes. From its conception, the Coalition represented both
the state’s regulatory interest in the long-term care and reformers hoping to
move that care toward more home-like environments. Through its consistent
outreac

h activities, the Coalition has grown to become North Carolina’s
principle organization for supporting long-term culture change within nursing homes.
