Yore Paw Engineers My Great Grandfather Personally I'm not so sure that common future is a guarantee.

Some people say that war is one of those necessary evils that we have to deal with for now, but eventually will fade away the more we humans progress toward our common idyllic/utopian future. In the meantime, to me, war seems to be a necessity born of our common human failure to recognize the gravity of our obligations to each other which are in direct conflict with our greedy claims to personal r

ights. So what I am offering here is a soundboard for those that want to promote the priority of human obligations over human rights. I say that we owe a debt to those soldiers that fight our wars for freedom, along with a debt to the innocent victims of those wars to help restore their lives as best we can. Part of that debt to the innocent victims is to the families of veterans that suffered indirectly the wounds of the veterans (both psychological and physical) that they brought home with them from those wars of freedom. But also to the families of those that we call collateral damage in the prosecution of war. Even a just war has innocent victims, and I think it is the mark of a just society that it takes on the responsibility of restoration afterwards.
