North Carolina Fair Share CDC is a nonprofit corporation that was formed in December of 2012 due to the need for substantial change in our community. We recognize that this change can only occur as a result of the people’s desire for change. It is NCFS CDC’s sincere belief that one leader can change the world if properly prepared and supported. NCFS CDC is devoted to the education of North Carolin
ian’s surrounding issues affecting them and identifying methods of addressing those issues. NCFS CDC will identify and train community leaders to promote interdependent community development principles to enrich the community. NCFSCDC believes the solution for the problems encountered by our community can be found within our community. In order to create this community culture of love, integrity, justice and common good we desire, we will identify and develop leaders that are willing to take responsibility for implementing the change needed. These leaders will then be provided the training and support so that their ideas are nurtured from thought to reality. Through this application NCFS CDC will be able to develop systems of change that can be duplicated and implemented in other communities facing similar challenges. We recognize that the idea needed to transform our world into everything we desire it to be rests in the minds and determination of our community members.
