Leadership North Carolina names Kathy Higgins as its next President & CEO.

An LNC Class 10 alumna, Kathy brings decades of leadership across the nonprofit, health care, and philanthropic sectors, along with a deep commitment to strengthening communities across our state.

“Kathy’s career reflects exactly what LNC exists to cultivate — leaders who understand this state deeply and act on that understanding,” said Board Chair Jaz Tunnell. “Having her lead this next chapter, as an alumna herself, brings the mission full circle.”

Kathy will begin her role on August 3 and will lead LNC’s mission to inform, develop, and engage committed leaders across North Carolina.
