Halifax County residents ! Have you ever heard of Senate bill 214 ? It would allow Franklin county to acquire property in Vance , Halifax and Warren counties without any of your local approval !

The Halifax County Board of Commissions formally passed a resolution opposing the provision but let’s make sure our counties have a voice in their communities where decisions can affect their land and resources.
