Today’s the day!

ACC2025 is officially underway in Asheville—and we’re kicking things off with record-breaking attendance and a packed agenda.

We’re diving into data trends, exploring new diagnostics, and connecting over a shared commitment to move our industry forward. Every mile of this conference is shaped by our member-led councils to deliver the insights that matter most.

On deck today:

ATRI insights from Rebecca Brewster
HR roundtables, crash analytics, and compliance strategies
Breakout sessions from the NCTA Women in Trucking Council, Technology & Maintenance Committee, and Safety & HR Committee

To our sponsors: thank you. Your support powers the progress we’re making together.

And to the motor carriers who continue to invest in safety, innovation, and community—thank you for believing in this work. Your leadership makes our roads safer and our industry stronger.

We’ve set aside 10 free seats for non-members. What do local shippers actually want from a carrier?

It's this:
-Answer the phone. When a truck’s late or a dock’s backed up, responsiveness wins.
-Know the lanes. Local knowledge beats national scale every time.
-Be flexible. Smaller shippers don’t move 100 loads a day. They need carriers who can pivot.
-Be honest. If rates change, explain why. If you’re delayed, say so.

We’re gathering the people who get this on October 16 in Colfax, NC.
The NCTA Network 2025 Session is about building partnerships—not one-time transactions.

🚨 Big wins for North Carolina at Supertech & Futuretech! 🚨

We’re proud to share the incredible results from our NC competitors who showed up, stood out, and made history at this year’s national competitions:

🔧 Kelby Bentley, FedEx, placed 2nd overall in the professional Top Tech competition. Kelby is a former Supertech champion. His performance continues to inspire excellence in our state.

🔧 Brian Peters, Salem Leasing, placed 4th overall in Top Tech, continuing North Carolina’s tradition of excellence and raising the bar for future competitors.

🔧 Kevin DaCosta, FedEx, also delivered a strong showing, finishing 14th overall in Top Tech. His consistency and skill helped solidify North Carolina’s reputation as a powerhouse in technician talent.

🎓 Tully McKinely, Forsyth Technical Community College, our top student technician, dominated multiple stations and took 1st place in the Futuretech competition. A phenomenal showing that reflects both skill and preparation.

🎓 Madison Boone, Forsyth Technical Community College, another standout from our state competition (2nd place in our Top Tech Student division), also won several stations and secured 2nd place nationally in Futuretech. Her consistency and precision were unmatched.

These results aren’t just wins—they’re momentum. They reflect the talent, grit, and pride of North Carolina’s technician community. Huge congratulations to Kelby, Brian, Kevin, Tully, Madison, and everyone who helped them get there.

Let’s keep building, competing, and celebrating what makes our industry great.

🗽 Send Us Your Freight Teams
Not your executives.
Not your boardroom.
Send us your dispatchers, your carrier reps, your brokers searching for capacity.
Send the ones who chase down loads, solve problems at 4:59 PM, and keep freight moving when the market says “no.”
North Carolina carriers have faced years of brutal conditions.
Fraud is rising. Margins are shrinking.
And too often, the people who actually move freight are left out of the room.
That changes October 16 in Colfax, NC.
The NCTA Network 2025 Session is built for the doers—
🚛 Speed networking
🤝 Real conversations
📦 No pitches, no fluff
Just freight professionals supporting each other
If you’re a manager or executive, we’re not asking you to attend.
We’re asking you to send your team.
Because the future of freight isn’t built in boardrooms—it’s built by the people who move it.
