BVSSNC would like to take this time to announce our first judge for our Beards And Bulldogs Beard And Pin-up Girl Competition taking place on September 5th at Bulldog Harley Davidson in Smithfield NC. Welcome Alex Vanderheyden glad to have you aboard! Here's a few words from Alex himself so you can get to know this amazing judge!

Hey beardos!

I'm Alex Vanderheyden, Vice President of The Beard and Moustache Club of North Carolina - Greensboro. I've been in the bearding community since late 2019 and have competed in nearly 30 competitions while judging a handful along the way! Beards are a way of life in my family; my wife competes in Whiskerina Creative categories and my daughter is a Junior Beardo!

Originally hailing from Wisconsin, I'm a big fan of the Packers, cheese, and cows. I play guitar in a 90's-00's cover band called Rewind, and have two black cats at home.

Super stoked to be judging all of your facial follicles!!! BE HAIRY! DO GOOD!
