WOW! What an amazing and overwhelmingly exciting day. We had a total of 207 people participate in the 1st Annual Beat the Bite 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/ Walk and we exceeded our goal for amount of money raised. It was a total success!

Thank you to all of our volunteers, participants, sponsors and supporters, even those who weren't able to make it to the event. We couldn't have done it without you!

It's finally here...the 1st Annual Beat the Bite 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is TODAY! We are PUMPED to get started and make this race happen. Join us to help spread awareness and raise funds for Lyme disease research!

Here's what the afternoon will look like:

12-2pm: Registration & Packet Pickup: 12-2pm
2pm: 1 Mile event begins
2:30pm: 5K begins
*Post-race activities: TIC-NC educational presentation, awards ceremony, and performance by the world champion Bouncing Bulldogs Jump Rope Team

REMINDER: packet pickup is TODAY from 3-6pm at Fitness19 in Cary - 920 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513 (located next to Lowes Foods in the shopping center across the street from Bond Park).

We are literally drowning in bags (full of goodies for you!) so stop by and pick them up today! Packet pickup will also be available at the race from 12-2pm.
