Delta Sigma Iota was founded in August of 2000 in order to promote unity, spread truth, value education and integrate South Asian culture into our daily lives. We are a Fraternity that stresses the importance of culture, unity and academics and continually works to provide the South Asian community at Penn State as well as elsewhere with assistance in any way possible.

We will be growing our ‘staches to raise funds and awareness for all the good work does. We will also be taking challenges, including a daily commitment to the 5 M’s of self-care and running 60 miles a month for the 60 men who pass from su***de each hour.

Here are the 5 M's:
🌅 Momentum. Pick a time you'll get up and have your feet hit the floor within 5 seconds of the alarm clock going! Start your day with 500ml of water and a pinch of sea salt.
📱 Media. Make a commitment to cap social media. Rather than turn to social media on autopilot, consciously decide when to use the apps!
🧘‍♂️ Meditation. 5 minutes of meditation using deep breathing (5 seconds in 5 seconds out for 5 minutes).
✍️ Mindset. Answer the questions on paper- what 3 things am I most grateful for today? What are my top 3 priorities today?
🏊‍♂️Movement. Walk or run 2 miles or if you're feeling energetic commit to 3 minutes of burpees as part of your morning routine.
