📢 WE HAVE NEWS!!!

We are excited to announce that Turtle Rescue Team has welcomed its 10,000th patient 🐢

Dolly, named in honor of the late country legend and a cloned sheep 🐑 of the same name, came to us at the beginning of September with an aural (ear) abscess that prevented her from boxing properly!

While Dolly underwent an abscess removal procedure the following day, we discovered that both of her front legs and other aural cavity also had abscesses

These abscesses can be caused by a variety of things:
• Lack of Vitamin A
• Bacterial infection 🧫
• Wounds 🩹
• and more!!!

We’re going to keep a close eye on Dolly while she recovers to ensure a smooth recovery!

Turtle Rescue Team will offer two internships - Veterinary Treatment and Animal Care - from January 11th to April 23rd, 2027 🐢💚

Both positions will offer the intern hands-on reptile and amphibian care experience and require approximately 3-hours of on-site work per week!

• Cover Letter
• 1 Letter of Recommendation
• Spring Availability
