On New Year’s Eve, President Obama signed the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. The controversial military spending bill allows the indefinite detention of American citizens suspected of involvement in terrorist activities without access to an attorney or trial by jury. Frightening, isn’t it?
