Over the last few weeks, since launching City Movement Church just over a month ago, my heart has been freshly stirred as I’ve watched this generation’s love and pursuit of Jesus. 🔥
I shared this past Sunday about a season when a wave of deconstruction moved through many in my generation. I remember the confusion, the hard conversations, and watching the faith of friends I loved begin to unravel.
At the same time, something else was happening…spiritual openness and curiosity were rising among Gen Z, in a moment when the narrative around this generation seemed hopeless.
Amid anxiety, depression, loneliness, and cultural confusion, you ran toward faith and toward Jesus.
Your faith, passion, and zeal for Christ have reignited a fresh hope in the Church (and in my own heart).
You are a generation marked by hunger.
Marked by honesty and confession.
Marked by pursuit of Jesus.
You’re helping lead the Church into awakening.
We are proud of you.
