ππ Thank You for an Absolutely Wonderful Symposium Season! ππ
Wow, what a season itβs been! As we close the final chapter on this yearβs symposium series, our hearts are just so full β and we couldnβt let this moment pass without saying a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made it so special. πΏβ¨
First and foremost β to YOU, our incredible community. Whether you came to one event or all of them, whether you asked a question, brought a friend, or simply showed up ready to learn β you are the reason this series thrives. Your curiosity, your passion for the environment, and your genuine care for our shared home made every single gathering feel like a celebration. We are endlessly grateful to have such a thoughtful, engaged community around us. π
We also want to give a big, warm shoutout to our amazing Municipality partners, without whom none of this would be possible:
ποΈ The Town of Apex β for opening your doors and continually championing events that bring people together around environmental education and community connection
π¨ Halle Cultural Arts Center β for so generously hosting us in your beautiful, inspiring space and helping create the perfect atmosphere for learning and art to come together
A very special thank-you goes to our guest speaker, Joanne Hershfield, who moved us all with her powerful documentary, Gardening for the Planet. Joanne, your thoughtful storytelling and deep passion for our relationship with the natural world left a lasting impression on everyone in the room. Thank you for generously sharing your work, your wisdom, and your voice with us. ππ₯
We also want to give huge, heartfelt thanks to Late Night Lowlights, who stepped in with such talent to open the evening with a fun musical introduction. Your willingness to jump in and set such a warm, welcoming tone for the night truly made the evening feel complete β thank you for sharing your gift with us! πΆπΈ
π« A Very Special Thank You to Our Sponsors π«
None of this would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, who believed in this seasonβs mission and helped bring it to life:
π² The Sierra Club Foundation β thank you for your continued dedication to advancing climate solutions, conservation, and community-driven environmental advocacy. Your support helped power a season of meaningful education and connection.
π° The Peak Weekly β thank you for helping spread the word and keep our community informed and engaged throughout the season.
π§ Quality Sprinkler β thank you for your generous support and long-standing commitment to service and community in our region.
Your generosity made a real difference, and we are so grateful for your partnership. ππ
And last but certainly not least β to the Trees for the Triangle Volunteers and Staff: thank you doesnβt even begin to cover it. From the countless hours of planning behind the scenes, to setting up chairs, greeting guests with a smile, and making sure every little detail came together β this season simply would not have happened without your hard work, dedication, and heart. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so lucky to have you on this team. ππ±
To everyone who came out, learned something new, connected with a neighbor, or left feeling just a little more inspired to care for our planet β thank you for being part of this journey with us. This community is truly something special, and we cannot wait to see what we grow together next season. π³π«
Until next time β keep learning, keep growing, and keep caring for the world around you. See you soon! π
