UPDATE: Although the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has intercepted our plans for a regular spring season, the rivalry is still in play. This years theme is ‘Let’s talk about dementia’ and an international campaign is being run to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds the disease.
An estimated 44 million people in the world have Alzheimer’s disease. In the United States, 5.5 million people have the disease. Every 66 seconds, someone in the U.S. receives an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. It’s predicted that by the year 2050, 16 million people in the U.S. will have Alzheimer’s.

The health and safety of our constituents, volunteers, and staff remain our driver as we continue to address the repercussions of the COVID-19 outbreak. Based on the guidance from local public health agencies, 2020 RivALZ Gameday will not be held in person. We will still be completing our RivALZ fundraising season. Be on the lookout for opportunities to support RivALZ and get involved.

Join us for an opening ceremony on RivALZ National’s Facebook, along with RivALZ participants across the nation, then head out on your own home turf, your backyard, garage, a park with your family and train up for the day when we can come off the bench again!

Gear up in your Purple 2020 RivALZ T-shirt, complete fitness agility and challenges and tell your friends and family why you RivALZ, helping to create a RivALZ wave across the nation.
