Staff from the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina visited the Durham CDF Freedom School Summer Camp on July 6.

We were welcomed with excitement and enthusiasm by campers ages 6–12 and the incredible camp staff. Together, we learned about the importance of helmet safety through fun questions, discussions, and activities. At the end of the program, every camper received a brand-new helmet to help keep them safe while they ride and play.

We’re excited to launch our new Social Club for Adults Living with Brain Injury. This is a free community meet-up designed for survivors and caregivers to connect, relax, and build meaningful friendships in a supportive environment.

This program is hosted by Brain Injury Association of North Carolina in partnership with Hinds' Feet Farm and funded through our Evergreen Foundation Grant.
