The gaps of disparity for this type of assistance is so broad and we are tirelessly working to help close the gap and help those cancer patients that so greatly deserve a "Lift Toward Survivorship!" FIVE MINUTES is all that it took for me to get my annual mammogram. I invested in myself as I continue to stomp for The SISI’s “Lift Your PEARLS And Check Your Girls” Campaign. I was dressed in my beautiful PEARLS and ready to take my pic following my mammogram when I realized that I left my phone on the kitchen counter. As I sat there in quiet disbelief that I didn’t have it with me, God gifted me with an expanded idea. I always say daily that GOD IS DELIBERATE! I was very disappointed earlier this month and felt like I fell short in my work when my well planned project didn’t materialize, but I also realize in my work of 12 years that The SISI is making great impact. Over 500 women across the country have gotten mammograms under our Campaign. If I had not been in a place of quiet this morning without my phone, I would have missed His gifted and ordered next steps. I spoke to two ladies there that had their screenings before me and they had to wait following their screening. I prayed for them. I honor Sheila Stokes and every Mammographer that courageously works all day and sees lives change before their very eyes without giving hint as they cordially and kindly work to make a difference in our lives doing the noble work. Thank you! So PEARLS, make the appointment and as screenings help detect breast cancer. Stay tuned! SN: I took my pic in my office with my pink lights in the background.
