"There are incredible holiday displays across the Triangle. But, year after year, people return to drive through the rustic majesty of Historic Oakwood.

"Each home is decorated to reflect the personality and style of the owner. Raleigh's famous velociraptor guards the neighborhood with flair. Wooden porches are decorated with snow, dazzling lights, red velvet ribbons. Some homes are classic; some are eclectic.

"... [the] majesty of Historic Oakwood at Christmas is a truly Raleigh experience that's something to behold."

For decades, Fayetteville Street has been a hub for the holidays. With twinkling lights and a giant Christmas tree, this main street through downtown Raleigh is aglow with generations of holiday memories.

Tour time is almost here! This year’s tour takes place December 12 & 13, bringing nearly 4,000 visitors to Oakwood to experience our historic homes and one of Raleigh’s most beloved holiday traditions.

But the Candlelight Tour is about more than a wonderful weekend—it’s the Society for the Preservation of Historic Oakwood’s biggest fundraiser, helping us protect Oakwood’s historic homes and character throughout the year.

🎟️ 🎁 Tour sponsors receive great benefits, including tickets valid for EITHER day, Oakwood Ball tickets, social media recognition, advertising opportunities, and more.

Sponsors at the Bronze level and higher are also invited to an exclusive reception at the historic Archie & Vallie Henderson House.

Help us preserve one of Raleigh's historic treasures!
