NC State Graduate Student Association Founded October 6, 1958, the NC State Graduate Student Association represents and supports the graduate student body of NC State.

If you are a graduate student at NC State University then you are a member of the GSA! The North Carolina State University Graduate Student Association (GSA) was formed on October 6, 1958 in order to give graduate students a forum for discussion and action about those events in the college community which affect them. As the years have passed, the GSA has grown in size and stature, and is currentl

y considered by both administration and graduate students to be an integral part of the NCSU community. Approximately 70% of all graduate majors have an active GSA chapter, meaning that a representative from those majors regularly attends our meetings and participates in our committees. Our mission is to make the academic, professional, and social life of graduate students at NC State more rewarding and enjoyable, and we hope you will support us in our efforts to do so! In fall 2015, UGSA (UGSA) officially changed its name to Graduate Student Association (GSA).

International Day for People of African Descendent 🌍

This day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the history, contributions, strength, resilience and humanity of people of African descent around the world. It is also a day to reflect on the systems and structures that continue to shape their experiences and access to human rights.

Recognizing this day means not only celebrating the richness of the African diaspora, but also committing to build more equitable and inclusive societies where people of African descent can fully thrive✨✨
