An Important Update from Celebrate for Good

Thank you to all our sponsors and every person who has donated and supported women in need through our programs. Your kindness makes a difference!

We have made the decision to cancel the 2026 St. Patrick’s Party with a Purpose and temporarily pause all current fundraising activities. This is a strategic pause that allows us to restructure our operations and ensure our long-term sustainability.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this transition. We will be in touch as we have more information.

The Myth of the Golden Years: Meet JANET

At 80, JANET appears to be exactly where she should be: near family while living in a senior affordable housing apartment. But JANET's story isn't a retirement fairy tale—it's a financial tightrope walk.

Despite a lifetime of work in education, her modest income is being swallowed by rising costs, leaving her "severely cost-burdened" and constantly at risk. JANET's struggle is the quiet crisis facing countless senior women right here in Wake County.

Swipe to see the five numbers that define her reality, and learn why urgent action is needed to protect our most vulnerable neighbors. https://www.celebrate4good.org/agingwithgrace -assistance

The Unseen Struggle: Meet Regina.

Regina, a 69-year-old former attorney, has dedicated her life to Wake County. Now, despite her background and diligent use of every safety net available, she finds herself living on a financial precipice.

Regina's story shatters assumptions about who faces poverty in retirement. It's a stark reminder that even with help, senior women are struggling to survive as costs soar. With just $150 left each month after bills, any unexpected expense could lead to disaster.

Swipe to understand Regina's reality and why supporting our seniors is more crucial than ever. https://www.celebrate4good.org/agingwithgrace -assistance

We're (offically) turning TWO!!!

Two years of spreading kindness, connection and community. Two years of doing what we do best: celebrating for good!

From our very first event to now, we're so grateful for every smile, every volunteer, every sponsor, every donor that has helped us give back to our community and people in need.

Here's to another year of more joy, more giving, and more reasons to celebrate and support women in need together!

It’s World Kindness Day! 💚
We’re challenging YOU to join our Random Acts of Giving movement—because kindness is contagious, and giving feels good.

Here’s how to join the challenge 👇
💚Do one small act of kindness today.
💚Share it with + tag .
💚Challenge 3 friends to do the same.

Together, let’s fill our community with acts that matter.

Women have served our country with courage and honor—making up approximately 17.7% of active-duty personnel today. In fact, NC has the 6th largest female veteran population in the country. Reference: usafacts.org, Point-in-Time (PIT)

Yet, many senior women who once stepped up for our country are now facing different challenges: making rent, keeping the heat on, staying safe at home...

That’s why our Rent Assistance for Senior Women program matters so much: it’s our way of saying “thank you” by giving back in a meaningful way. https://www.celebrate4good.org/donate

👉 A gift today helps pay a utility bill, shields a home from housing instability, and honors a lifetime of service.
