Want to thank Kent for his leadership and say thank you to all of our fairs and their fearless leaders who do things behind the scenes to create family memories for a lifetime and celebrate Agriculture.

Congratulations to Allen Faircloth with the Robesonian Regional Agricultural Fair for being chosen as the 2026 recipient of the Holmes-McBride award. This is the highest honor that the association bestows each year.

Opening night of the NCAOAF conference was a hit. Met our vendors, ate some good food, raised a little money with casino night and had a great time seeing old friends and making new ones. Thank you to Big Rock Amusements for sponsoring the night. You can bet our members won’t forget this one for a long time.

So many of our fairs our run by Veterans organizations and have boards made up of Veterans. Thank you to all Veterans for your service. Honoring you today as we celebrate Veterans day, and everyday.

Thank you to all our fairs who made the trip for the fair managers event tonight at the NC State Fair. We appreciate everyone sending in their best of show items for competition. We also appreciate the NC State Fair sponsoring tonight’s meal. Thanks for a great meeting and event tonight.

Congratulations to Brunswick County Fair! The weather may have made you pivot and you along with Dreamland Amusements made it all happen. If you haven’t been we encourage you to check out this first time fair. They are doing it right and we are thrilled to have them as part of our association.
