😴 Sleep and blood glucose are more connected than you might think.

Poor sleep can affect energy, stress, appetite, and how your body manages blood glucose—and diabetes can also make getting a good night’s sleep more challenging.
This September, our DiabetesSisters Meetups are focusing on sleep health. Join us for practical tips, honest conversation, and support from other women who understand the everyday realities of living with diabetes.

Life doesn’t stop when you’re managing diabetes. There’s still work, family, stress, responsibilities—and somewhere in all of that, you deserve to be cared for, too. 💙

Taking care of yourself is one of the most important things you can do, and sometimes that starts with simply having a place where you can show up, be understood, and not have to explain everything.

Our new East Coast Type 2 Diabetes Support Group is about real conversations, practical support, and learning from other women who understand what it’s like to navigate type 2 diabetes in real life.

Join host Michele Tedder, MSN, RN—a registered nurse and woman living with type 2 diabetes—for our very first meetup tomorrow, August 27 at 7 PM ET. Sign up here: https://hubs.ly/Q04vqsBB0

Come with your questions, your experiences, or simply yourself. 💙
You don’t have to navigate diabetes alone. Join us tomorrow!

Food is more than what’s on our plate—it’s connected to our culture, our families, our traditions, and our memories. 💛

Managing diabetes or supporting your health shouldn’t mean giving up the foods that are meaningful to you.

Join us for our upcoming Expert Series: Tradition Meets Health: Cultural Foods in Diabetes and Weight Management with Vandana Sheth, RDN, CDCES, FAND.

📅 Wednesday, September 2
⏰ 12 PM ET

Together, we’ll explore practical ways to honor cultural foods while supporting blood glucose and overall health—including meal balance, portion sizes, preparation methods, and strategies that focus on flexibility and sustainability, not restriction.

Whether you’re looking for new ideas for yourself or hoping to better support someone you care for, you’ll leave with practical strategies you can actually use.

✨ Save your spot and join us! https://hubs.ly/Q04t31PJ0
