Public School Forum of North Carolina

Public School Forum of North Carolina The Public School Forum of NC is a not for profit education policy think tank located in Raleigh, NC.

Since 1986, the Public School Forum of North Carolina has been an indispensable and nonpartisan champion of better schools and the most trusted source in the state for research and analysis on vital education issues. We bring together leaders from business, education and government to study education issues, develop ideas, seek consensus, and ultimately inform and shape education policy. We do tha

t through research, policy work, innovative programs, advocacy, and continuing education for educators and policymakers. While we are nonpartisan, we do have one bias that is crystal clear: We believe in the fundamental value of public education and the central role it plays in our society and economy. We always will advocate for what is best for the children of North Carolina, not just what is politically possible in the moment. Our job has been and continues to be to provide the even-handed, evidence-based research and analysis that educators and policymakers depend on and can use to make our schools the best they can be.
