🎉Over 75% of the 4-H international exchange delegates coming to NC for 3 weeks this summer have been placed or are pending placement! 🎉

We just need **9 more families** to host the remaining delegates (all from Japan). Does your family have room for one more? Please read the list below to see if there is a delegate who would fit into your family! Hosting is an incredibly rewarding and educational experience.

Not sure if your family is eligible? Here are the requirements:
🍀Host sibling must be same gender and within 3 years of age of the delegate (if you don't have a youth between the ages of 10-18, you may still be eligible to host an adult chaperone! Please message me for more details)
🍀Provide delegate with their own bed (can share a room with siblings of same gender, but needs their own bed–air mattress is OK)
🍀Provide delegate with three meals a day
🍀Will have an adult or older teen around at all times from July 24 - August 16
🍀Friendly, safe, welcoming home
🍀Interest in learning about another culture and sharing yours with your new “family member”

Please apply as soon as possible so we can complete the screening process for all families before June 1!

DM us with any questions, or to let us know if there is a specific delegate your family is interested in hosting!

Tomorrow is the deadline to apply to host an international youth delegate from Japan, Taiwan, or South Korea! This is an amazing experience for the whole family. If your child is interested in going Outbound someday, it's a great way to learn more about the exchange program, and you could even choose to host a youth who would be interested in hosting your child next year! In fact, 13 of the youth delegates coming from Japan this summer indicated they would be interested in their American host sibling coming to their home in Japan in 2027.

After tomorrow, late applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all delegates are placed.
