Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate freedom and opportunity this Fourth of July, we’re also encouraged by new efforts to help set up youth in foster care with better outcomes. The new Fostering the Future Accounts (which go live today!) are designed to help youth in foster care build a stronger future and more opportunity when they age out.

Every child deserves hope, opportunity, and caring adults who believe in their future. We hope all 50 states will adopt this initiative and help youth in foster care have the chance to build wealth.

JUNE IS HERE and graduation is just around the corner!

This year, 15 incredible seniors will graduate from high school while also navigating life in the custody of the Wake County Foster Care System. Their journeys have not been easy, and they deserve to be celebrated in a big way.

Guardian ad Litem’s play a critical role in the lives of kids in foster care and we are so grateful for the work they do to serve the children and teens in Wake Co!

These volunteers pour time, heart, and energy into standing up for kids who need it most. Recognizing them isn’t just about appreciation—it’s about raising awareness and inspiring others to step into this life-changing role.
